Day four – again, includes the classical tour and a tour of the old private park, as well as a reiteration of the call on Sir Joseph Paxson and the sixth Duke of Devonshire.
Day five – this is an opportunity to attend an extensive tour behind the scenes at Chatworth including material on the Master plan restoration project and related discoveries.
Day six – this special tour focuses on the preparations for the Christmas season in Chatsworth.
Make sure that you plan carefully for your trip to choose from the day that most appeals to you. Or, rent a cottage to stay in Peak District and hitting more than one behind the scenes tour. It may be tight, but it is a possibility. Either way, you'll definitely enjoy this unique opportunity to see the face behind the curtain and inner workings of Chatsworth.
